Aldwark Bridge Diversion
There is a short cut to the lenghty diversion saving many miles on the diversion route.
There is a public footpath to the left, 50 meters appox. short of the bridge. It goes alongside a golf course and follows the river for about half a mile. After half a mile there is a footbridge to the right which crosses the river and takes you onto a lane that goes past Aldwark Manor Hotel and then back onto the WOTR route.
