The renowned Woodies is open all year (Closed Mondays & Tuesdays, September to June inclusive, except Bank Holidays) for excellent quality food and drinks all freshly prepared by happy people at our superb location in the Lune Valley. Over 15m of off road, traffic free cycle path with great access for wheelchairs, pushchairs, or simply strolling. Cycle traffic free to/from Morecambe, Lancaster or Glasson Dock.

Located a few miles from Lancaster on the route at the Crook o’ Lune.

Already popular with cyclists and was where the Mayor of Ripon welcomed Way of the Roses opening day riders (see photo opposite). Eastbound cyclists need to turn left at the top of High Skellgate onto Park Street to find it.
