We have had reports that parts of the route between Settle and Pateley Bridge are blocked with snow drifts between 5 and 6 feet deep in places and the weather is forecast to worsen at the weekend. Before setting off, we advise ringing ahead to accommodation providers to find out local weather conditions and if in doubt, play safe.
