What better way to enjoy this classic ‘coast to coast’ route than by joining one of our regular 5 day self guided tours starting and ending in historic York. All you have to do is ride your bike, follow the signs and watch the wonderful scenery roll by – not worrying about getting you and your bike to the start, or getting back from Bridlington.

Cycle Yorkshire will transfer you and your bike from our base in York to Morecambe and back to York, provide 4 nights top quality B&B accommodation, transfer your baggage each day and a fully qualified guide will never be far away.

Peak Tours provides fully supported cycle tours on the Way of the Roses route. We book accommodation, transfer luggage, provide Sustrans Official maps, route notes and an experienced tour guide cycle's with the group. The back-up van carries a few spare bikes and provides assistance if required.

Skedaddle the Way of the Roses!

Guided / supported rides on the Way of the Roses route. We’ve numerous set departures throughout the year and  if you are a family, group of friends, work colleagues, school party or just a couple of mates looking to have a few days away, then we can make sure we adapt the route, daily mileage and number of days cycling to suit your requirements. By all means bring your own bike along or alternatively hire one from us.

Looking for an alternative coast to coast trip, then check out our C2C trips or if you are looking for something that is gentler paced with a few less hills then choose our Hadrian Cycleway. 

Skedaddle work closely with the Sustainable Transport charity Sustrans and for every mile cycled on a Skedaddle trip such as The Way of the Roses, C2C or Hadrian’s Cycleway, Skedaddle donates 5p per mile.

Along with donations from generous Skedaddle customers this equated to £4291.85 in 2011.
