Carnival at Bentham

A carnival to launch the Bentham Loop Passing Place is being organised for Saturday, 31 May. There’ll be a celebratory bike ride, the unveiling of new public artwork, live music, and dance and street theatre, all thanks to hard working Bentham-based Pioneer Projects and the Carnival Bentham team.
As well being the first of a series of new Passing Places public art on the Way of the Roses route (part of the Travelling Histories project), Carnival Bike at Bentham is part of the Yorkshire Festival 2014 - 100 days of arts and culture events leading up to the Grand Depart of the Tour de France.
